Sustainability
A Wastec plant enables recycling
and assists composting and energy recovery (with suitable
downstream equipment) providing a sustainable integrated
approach to waste management and maximum diversion from
landfill.
Wastec systems can be of almost any scale, the ability
to site them close to the waste source satisfies the proximity
principle of many waste strategies and means less traffic
movement, less pollution and waste is not transported
large distances and a Wastec plant can be housed in a
standard industrial building meaning low visual impact.
Localised plants also mean there are employment opportunities close to the
communities that the plant serves.
