How much does it cost?
A Wastec system is much less expensive
than most other waste technologies both in capital and
running costs. Operating costs (based in the UK) for processing
MSW are likely to be in the range of £10 tonne for
a 50,000 tpa plant normally with the value of recovered
materials to be offset against this figure. A twin streamer
system is designed to process 25,000 tpa operating on
a single shift but throughput can be doubled with the
introduction of a second shift.
