We produced
29.7 million tonnes of municipal waste in England in 2004/05
and how to deal with this waste is a major environmental
and financial challenge for local authorities and their
residents. Waste management has also risen on the political agenda around the world.
Finding an environmental solution, which is affordable and fits into
different strategies in different locations can be a real problem.
Wastec provide an answer as they have developed an innovative mechanical recycling
system which maximises resource recovery and prepares material for a variety of
other uses and processing. Wastec aims to maximise diversion from landfill and
produce tailor-made solutions for authorities and regions that can be delivered
within their budgets.
